Marsaxlokk is located in the south-eastern part of Malta which is famous for its Sunday fish market. Marsaxlokk has a history dating 9th century BC in this bay first Phoenicians landed and set up their businesses, during the great siege Turkish fleet anchored there.

There is a small sandy beach on the east side of the village and St. Peter’s pool located 20-minute away by walk. The bay is filled with colorful boats called luzzus. The fish market attracts many tourists and locals who are interested in buying fresh fish.
